Due to the inclement weather season, routes might experience delays. Download Transit app to see buses in real time.
How to Ride
Here's a quick guide to get you started riding the bus. You can plan your trip using our Google Maps trip planner located on the homepage. To find full timetables, see our routes & schedules. If you ever need assistance or help planning your trip, you can call us at (785) 537-6345 extension 2, and our team will assist you.
1. Wait for the Bus
Arrive at your bus stop 5-10 minutes before the bus is expected to be there. The bus may run 5 or more minutes late depending on traffic and/or other unpredicted circumstances. If you have the transit app on your phone, you can track where the bus is to know more accurately when it will arrive at your stop.
2. Pay Your Bus Fare
Deposit your fare in the fare box or present your pass to the driver. Cash fare is exact change only. See a full list of fare options including mobile payments here!
3. How to Transfer
Transfers are FREE once you have paid your bus fare or shown your pass to begin your trip! If you need to transfer to the next scheduled bus, notify the driver when you first board.
5. Request Your Stop
When the bus is a block away from your desired stop, pull gently on the stop request line located along the side walls of the bus to notify the driver that you are ready to get off.
6. Safely Exit the Bus
Once the bus has fully stopped, exit through the front door. Never cross in front of the bus after exiting the vehicle.
