Drug Free Workplace Act
It is unlawful to manufacture, distribute, dispense, possess, or use controlled substances in the workplace. Employees are required to submit to drug and alcohol tests as a condition of employment, and if convicted of a drug statute violation occurring in the workplace, they must report it to FHATA within five calendar days. The Drug Free Workplace Act applies to all employees of FHATA, including those performing safety-sensitive functions, and is essential for maintaining a drug-free workplace in compliance with the Drug-Free Workplace Act.
