WHAT IS THIS PROJECT?

The Flint Hills Transit System Comprehensive Analysis is a project that will result in a detailed plan to guide Flint Hills Area Transportation Agency throughout the coming years.

Public transportation is a vital mobility tool in our community. After facing a multitude of challenges since 2020, Flint Hills Area Transportation Agency (Flint Hills ATA Bus) has decided to extensively evaluate the current system and seek out the current needs and wants of the local communities to guide a path forward. 

The aim of the study is to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the existing transit network and highlight opportunities for service improvement.
