CDL Bus Operator with Passenger Endorsement Training Program

Student Trainees will be paid $14.00/hour

The overall program consists of classroom, hands-on driving and online practice training.

CDL Class - C with Passenger Endorsement Bus Operator

Starting pay is $16.50 per hour

With CDL Class C + P Endorsement and 1+ Year of Experience

Starting pay is $15.05 per hour

With CDL Class C + P Endorsement and -1 Year of Experience

The CDL – C Bus Operator drives a 20-passenger vehicle and collects fares/tickets.
General Student Trainee and Bus Operator Requirements:

Must be able to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
-
High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Minimum 21 years of age
-
Must pass a background check, drug screen, and Physical Capacity Profile.

Must obtain a Kansas Department of Transportation, (KDOT), Medical Examiner’s Certificate prior to beginning the program, and retain for duration of employment

Must have a clean MVR for the past 3 years
Sign on bonus - $2000:
-
Paid for full-time hires who have a CDL and P Endorsement.

Half is paid on the first paycheck (within 30 days of employment).
-
Remaining half is paid after 1 year of satisfactory performance.

Must remain employed for 6 months or the employee will pay back the initial payment in an amount based on the number of months worked.
